Lessons for Beginners through Advanced riders of all ages are available

The Summer 2008 Class Session runs for 8 weeks, beginning June 23rd.  Please register ASAP to reserve a space – some classes may fill up quickly and are on a first-come-first-serve basis. Make-up lessons will be scheduled as needed. During the week, please call before noon on the day of your lesson to let us know if you won’t be able to ride. For Saturday, let us know Friday pm or as soon as possible in the morning. Make-ups will not be scheduled unless the lesson is canceled in advance, and they must be done during the current session. Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before your lesson to bridle and walk your horse up the hill!

Rider Expectations and Barn Rules

Rider Expectations:

*  All lesson students should arrive at the lower barn 15 minutes before their lesson begins to check their horse assignment and walk up the hill. Please try to be on time as it is difficult to join a lesson after it has started.
*  Lessons will be cancelled in extreme weather situations.  We will try to contact you but please call the barn to check if you are in doubt.
*  Please wear riding britches, long pants or jeans, and hard-soled boots with a small heel.  Riding helmets are required and may be borrowed from the barn if needed.

Spectator Expectations:

*  Do not stand in or block the aisle ways when horses are moving through.
Keep the windows in the observation room closed for the safety of the students.
*  All visiting children must be under direct adult supervision at all times while on the property.
*  No gate climbing, yelling, or running at any time.

Feel free to ask questions of any of our staff –
